Coli Shipping & Transport celebrates its 50-year jubilee!
Last week we celebrated our 50th Anniversary at our HQ in Hamburg, together with many of our international colleagues. We’re more than happy with the way we were able to develop our business and of course, as before, we’re focussing on current projects and future plans!
In 1974 the company was established in Hamburg and Bremen by Herbert Loesing and former partners, while the last years the Group is mainly in the hands of the founding member and family.
Now we see the next generation: Alain Akavi and Felix Peinemann, who joined as shareholders this year. Over the years COLI Schiffahrt & Transport have grown into a company with offices on
3 continents to serve our clients worldwide.
Asia was in the focus already from the 1990s, and the first offices were established in Singapore and Tokyo, and in the meantime also in Seoul and Shanghai.
In South America we are in partnership with Gustavo Murari, having established a joint company with offices in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Itajai, and recently also in Georgetown, Guyana.
Doing business for half a century is, of course, a journey with ups and downs, and the fact that we can celebrate this moment together is for us a great achievement, for which we like to thank the entire Coli Team, appreciating their dedication to the Company, as everybody puts in so much of him- and herself to make it all work, and deliver ‘Solutions beyond the Ordinary’ every day.
Last but not least, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, many of whom have been with us for decades. We are grateful for the professional and pleasant collaboration and for the fact that you entrust us with your cargo, either brokering the right transport solution or arranging the full front-to-end logistics process for you. Thank you!

From Antwerp to Shanghai

Having loaded from barges and the quayside in Antwerp, the ‘AAL Pusan’ carried the cargo safely to China and discharged the reactors in the port of Shanghai, ready for on-carriage over land.
