COLI Group carrier CPC Coli Project Cargo has been hired to transport a Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant for the Mari CCGT Project. The Mari CCGT project is the first thermal independent power plant in Cyprus and is operated by Cyfield Group. The construction of this plant is critical to the national infrastructure, enabling them to meet current and future electricity demand while also reducing the carbon footprint of Cyprus.
The cargo, which is currently being transported from China, consists of 7532 CBM of power plant equipment, including pieces up to 300 metric tons.
CPC handled this project together with their Chinese partner, @CSL Shipping (Shanghai), who chartered breakbulk vessel KS Aim to load the cargo in China.
