Your contribution within the team
You will be the linchpin of our financial operations, contributing to our international ambitions while growing as a professional in the maritime sector. This involves a variety of daily tasks and challenges, such as:
- Developing and guiding automation projects and process optimisation
- Making financial data insights accessible and identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth
- Advising the board on investment decisions, considering both opportunities and risks
Your responsibilities as Controller include:
- Reporting and analysis
You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and perform ad-hoc analyses to explain variances and implement solutions. - System optimisation
You will develop and automate our controlling tools and processes, with a focus on cost efficiency. - Strategy development and project planning
You will collaborate with international teams on financial plans, forecasts, and liquidity planning for the short and long term. - Management advisory
You will serve as a trusted advisor to management and coordinate reporting with our subsidiaries.
Do you recognise yourself in the following profile?

- For this role, you will need a completed higher professional or academic degree in business, economics, or a related field (with a specialisation in finance or controlling being an advantage).
- You have at least three years of experience in controlling, preferably in the maritime sector and/or an international environment.
- Naturally, you have expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting (HGB/IFRS).
- Additionally, you have experience with digitalisation projects and excellent Excel skills (knowledge of Sage 100 RW and Lucanet is a plus).
- You are analytical, work proactively, and tackle complex problems with determination.
- And since we operate internationally, you speak and write English fluently.
